Kabin Taka is in central Kyoto, right where the action is. It's also where we put all the other good stuff. Gym? Check. Nearby parking? Check. Don't stay too long though, get out and check out Kyoto IRL.
Kabin is for the live-like-a-local type of traveler. Quick and convenient without all the added fluff. Kabins are split across multiple properties located close to each other to help each other and share our facilities, just like a community. We want travelers to go out, explore and do whatever travel is about. In other words: explore, in real life (Explore, IRL).

Kawaramachi
The heart of downtown—shopping by day and nightlife after dark. Shinkyogoku and Teramachi shopping streets are packed with souvenir shops, cafes, used-clothing stores (Western style, kimono, or both), arcades, and all kinds of snacks. Need a break from the crowds? Step into a nearby temple to recharge. At night, explore the great nightclubs and bars around Kawaramachi-dori. You’ll find high-end Japanese restaurants, cafes, and bars all in one area—the hardest part is choosing where to go. When you're ready to slow down, relaxing on the Kamo River bank is a favorite pastime for both locals and travelers.
